This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Biology Education. Students enrolled in this program plan to transfer into a Teacher Education Program at a university to teach Biology secondary education.

  1. Scientific Inquiry: understand and be able to apply the scientific method in a biological context.
  2. Scientific ethics: Understand and apply ethical biological principles in real-world scenarios.
  3. Interdisciplinary knowledge: Integrate biological concepts with knowledge from other disciplines such as chemistry, physics and mathematics, to solve biological problems.
