External Funding

External grant applications at 麻豆直播 follow a three-phase process: Pre Award, Award, and Post Award. Approval forms are required at specific stages and must be submitted to the Grant Team before moving forward.

  • STEP 1: DEVELOP YOUR PROJECT IDEA 

    Identify the need or opportunity your project will address. Clearly define the goals, objectives, and intended outcomes of the project.

  • STEP 2: IDENTIFY POTENTIAL FUNDING SOURCES 

    Research grant opportunities that align with your project idea and institutional priorities. Confirm eligibility and funding requirements.

  • STEP 3: OBTAIN INITIAL APPROVAL 

    Complete and submit FORM 1: Grant Proposal Approval to initiate internal review. Approval of Form 1 is required before proceeding to the Award phase.

  • STEP 1: WRITE PROJECT PROPOSAL 

    Identify key team members and assign a Principal Investigator (PI) to lead the proposal and oversee the project.  Develop the proposal in alignment with funder guidelines, including project activities, outcomes, evaluation methods, and timelines. 

  • STEP 2: GET APPROVAL 

    Complete and submit FORM 2: Grant Application Approval for institutional review prior to finalizing the application. Work with the Grant Office and Business Office to confirm budget accuracy and required documentation.

  • STEP 3: SUBMIT THE GRANT APPLICATION 

    The Grant Manager will review the completed proposal and submit the application to the funding agency on behalf of the College.

 

 
  • STEP 1: RECEIVE AND RECORD AWARD DECISION

    Email a copy of the award decision, whether approved or denied, to the Grant Team. Submit FORM 3: Grant Award Decision to document the outcome. Forward the official grant agreement or contract for review and processing.

  • STEP 2: INITIATE PROJECT ACTIVITIES

    Launch the project in coordination with the Grant Office and Business Office. Follow all grant terms, institutional policies, and reporting requirements.

  • STEP 3: COMPLETE REQUIRED REPORTS   

    The Grant Manager will review the completed proposal and submit the application to the funding agency on behalf of the College.

  • STEP 4: SHARE GRANT SUCCESS

Key Roles in the Grant Process

  • Principal Investigator (PI): Serves as the project lead and primary point of contact. Develops program content, oversees project implementation, ensures compliance with grant requirements, and coordinates with the Grant Office and Business Office.
  • Grant Team (Grant Office and Business Office):
    Provides guidance throughout the full grant life cycle, reviews proposals and budgets, manages institutional approvals and submissions, oversees contracts and financial compliance, and ensures adherence to college, state, and federal grant requirements.
  • Business Office (as part of the Grant Team):
    Manages fiscal oversight of awarded grants, including budget review, contract processing, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting in coordination with the Grant Office.
  • Marketing and Communications: Assists with sharing approved grant successes through College marketing and communication platforms.
